Delaware College of Art and Design

About: The Delaware College of Art and Design is a two-year program leading to an Associate Degree in Fine Art located in Wilmington, Delaware. The college is the result of an innovative partnership between Pratt Institute and the Corcoran College of Art and Design with accreditation through Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools as a branch of Corcoran College of Art and Design. Accepted students to DCAD can pusue their studies in a range of majors including Animation, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography. The two-year articulation program with both Pratt and Corcoran allows you the flexibility to begin your art and design career upon graduation from DCAD, or enter Pratt or the Corcoran as a junior to complete your BFA degree. You may also, of course, transfer to any other art and design school in the United States. Along with the degree program, DCAD offers Continuing Education courses and certificate programs for non-credit. The college provides challenging, small classes in a stimulating, relaxed and friendly atmosphere to maximize students artistic achievement and success.
