Often described to be a photographer's dream, Oregon boasts an amazing array of natural landscape including towering mountains and volcanoes, arid deserts, thick forests, clear blue lakes, and miles of rugged Pacific coastline. Oregon also proudly boasts more ghost towns than any other state, contributing to its varied beauty and rich history.

With organizations such as the Oregon Arts Commission promoting and supporting art, art education, and art careers throughout the state, it's not surprising the art community will enjoy an estimated 16% increase in job opportunities through 2014, making Oregon a prime place to begin studying one's craft.
